Linda Szabo, PhD

Associate Director of Computational Biology

Linda Szabo, PhD, joined Acelot in 2025 as a Computational Biologist. Dr. Szabo brings extensive experience at the intersection of computational biology, AI and therapeutic development, with expertise in building data-driven platforms that accelerate target discovery, indication strategy and scientific due diligence. With a background in biomedical informatics and RNA biology, she offers a multidisciplinary approach to drug discovery that integrates statistical modeling, machine learning and large-scale biological data analysis to translate complex science into actionable insight.

Prior to her role at Acelot, Dr. Szabo served as Senior Computational Biologist at Pivotal Life Science, where she led and scaled cross-functional teams of scientists, engineers, and investors to develop a proprietary platform for evaluating therapeutic targets and drug candidates, directly informing multi-million-dollar investment and company-creation decisions. Previously, she held roles at Mantra Bio, where she defined early R&D strategy for RNA delivery programs and managed data science and engineering teams across multiple programs, and Driver, where she supported clinical and R&D pipelines with advanced genomics and analytics infrastructure.

Dr. Szabo received her PhD in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University. She also holds an MS in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University and a BS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
